The script is not bad, but the other guys make it ridiculous. I thought So Ji Sub would be better for this role since he is bigger and has tougher face than him. Ji Chang Wook and Yoona as a couple certainly look lovely together. You can expect a really good cast. A fugitive on the run & a presidential candidate's daughter cross paths in this political drama. Conversely, watching Yoo Jin psychologically wreck and manipulate her opponents in the most charming way possible is as stimulating as ever. Useless. But it’s another one of those that could have been so much more with just a better connection to the characters. Unfortunately, most of the side characters were really well acted and believable, but the female love interest was bad enough, shallow enough, superficial enough to ruin the show, and the male lead appears to have been forced to do some shitty scenes on that account. I went in with great expectations having watched “Healer”. Too loud music that didn't even comply with the scenes - it was "misplaced" and neverending and I found myself annoyef wishing this was like a game where you could turn off the background music completely.
It definitely nailed the action part . Finally, we’re introduced to Jang Se Joon (Jo Sung Ha) and his wife, Choi Yoo Jin (Song Yoon Ah). The drama also felt very hollow. It had some fun action elements (and Ji Chang Wook! The drama started strong with a solid set up during the first third, but then it didn’t really seem to have that much story to tell. I know what you mean.

The courtship stage is superB between Jeha and Anna, however I am more interested with Madam and Jeha story so I'm expecting more scenes about them. The K2 is hard to pinpoint as a strict success or failure because some aspects were simply mind blowing, whereas others were insane. All the pent-up tension accumulated in the drama finally culminates to the ultimate showdown, where our four main characters and Sung Won have to choose between life, love, and power. Adding, this drama can say an alternate version Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton Politic life. Likewise, the attraction between K2 and An Na is puzzling. Yes, it definitely makes a huge difference. This is not a case where a villainous character completely softens and turns good, but we do see some movement on her part. I guess, that is also a bit the problem I have with Wanted. The drama has flaws of course but it is very entertaining at least to me. And their acting skills. And considering her character’s tragic past and current struggles, I really wanted to feel her pain and connect with her on a deeper level.

I would say the biggest negative for me was a lack of heart. I definitely agree that the dialogue and action scenes were fantastic but the mediocre love line and inconsistency in An Na’s character brought down the drama…. First, Choi Yoo Jin had carried out the role in perfect shot! I had pretty high expectations for this series, after having seen the trailers for it. It had some enjoyable parts for sure, but yes, it could have been so much more. Aside from An Na’s decision to follow Sung Won, the romance is blooming well, greatly improving from the beginning. These episodes of The K2 unravel the hidden layers of different characters and institutions. What else is wrong with this scene? But from what I am reading here it isn’t that good. I don’t understand this drama, a lot of conflicts that are so unnecessary and fight scenes. And thank you so much for saying that! And K2 and An Na live happily abroad, free from the burdens of their past. What makes this drama taste different is the complex relationship between the hero, lead actor Ji Chang Wook, and the antihero Song Yun-ah. The cutesy romantic parts felt like a plot device that the director didn't have the slightest idea how to deal with. This drama is said to be as good as the Healer (another action spy drama), filled with action scenes, martial arts conflicts, political twists and some romance. Kim Je Ha, also known as K2, is a somber and fearless former soldier of Blackstone, a military company. Yoona was decent as Anna, but she ended up being a little flat for me. Underrated but WELL-RECOMMENDED.

It would have been better to pair Song Yoon Ah and Ji Chang Wook together as the lead couple. Kim Je-ha is non plausible in plenty of situations, Anna is not bad, but unnaturally full of wisdom after an entire life of complete wisdom-less, the others either laugh like cows when they shouldn't or behave like clowns when the situation requires a completely different attitude. Amidst all this darkness, An Na is finally revealed to the public, takes action for her mother, and develops her romance with Je Ha. The female antagonist on the other hand OWNED every single of her scenes. I was planning on giving it another go but with this review I think I was right in dropping this from my watch list.
