The biggest reason why I recommend "4" by Beyonce is because many of the songs have a unique musical feel reminiscent of "Sweet Dreams" (one of my other favorite Beyonce songs). Must say I do love Beyonce she is the ultimate performer and business women and is inspirational in the music world however I am disappointed in 4. If you can't beat Beyonce, then you should join her! As mentioned there's quite a bit of crackling and surface noise, but hearing this album on wax is surprisingly nostalgic; there's just something special about Party and Countdown being cranked up and appreciating the vocal elements, instrumentation and overall production.
