My first review said it ended with more questions than answers. I know I’m not the only one to notice or comment on the fact that since Monty Oum’s passing, the fights themselves have gotten much less dynamic.

It still feels like a big question about what it means that, due to Ozpin doing this, Oscar may cease to exist as his own entity and just become Ozpin in the future. The version we received is the Special Edition Combo Product which comes with two Blu-ray disks and a 32-page RWBY official manga anthology sampler. The thing I like most about RWBY Volume 5 is the good qualities exhibited by the main characters. They do a great job backing up the heavier moments with an amount of emotion that feels appropriate, but not over the top.
After the Halo event of 2552, there is a brief but violent period of civil war among the humans. I did my best to refrain offering up any spoilers. I absolutely love RWBY, the stars are specifically for the Item/Disc(s) in particular. The faunas arrive, defuse the situation, and surround White Fang until they’re defeated and surrender.
The question is, with so many players in this game, who's going to come out on top? Volume 5, however, does a good job of addressing some of the concerns I had with the previous Volume. Unlike the others, this is not a combo pack with Bluray and DVD. I liked how different it felt, even with both of them being schools. Last season, he was mostly a non-entity to me. I honestly don't understand the decision from RT to remove that. Fights are cut off screen multiple times, characters would rather stand around talking or are characters make ridiculous choices. I liked it a lot, though some moments were just too goofy, and sometimes I feel like they overdid some of the humor in this Volume. Super fans of RWBY will deny it but this volume has some serious flaws.The biggest problem with this volume is that it feels like a first draft.
I don't care about the "Combo Pack" stuff as much. I have been following RWBY series for years. So while you may already be convinced that the RWBY: Volume 5 Blu-ray is worth a pick-up, just wait … there’s more!
